Welcome to Camp Starbound! We’re so excited to blast off into a summer of science, space, and STEM exploration with your young astronaut. Below you’ll find everything you need to know before launch, including camp times, policies, and important forms.
Schedule
Camp will be held at Studio 525 (525 Village Park Dr, Powell, OH 43065). Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM each day. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM and must be completed by a parent or legal guardian. Campers must be signed in and out by an authorized adult listed on the registration form.
Camp Rules
At Camp Starbound, we prioritize safety, kindness, creativity, and curiosity. To keep camp a fun and respectful place, we ask that all campers follow the following rules:
- Be respectful to other campers, instructors, environment, and materials.
- Follow all safety instructions during experiments and activities.
- Stay with your group and ask a counselor if you need help or a break.
- Do not touch other campers’ belongings unless given permission.
- Use kind words and actions. Bullying or repeated disrespect will result in removal from camp.
If behavioral issues arise, we will work with the child and parent/guardian to resolve them. However, Camp Starbound reserves the right to remove a camper without refund if behavior becomes disruptive or unsafe.
Food at Camp
Campers will need to bring their own lunch and a water bottle each day. Each camp will have a 30-45 minute lunch break.
A refrigerator and microwave are available on site if needed. Campers are responsible for managing and reheating their own meals.
